Our beginner training courses are designed to give you the confidence, knowledge and practical skills to begin your career in the beauty industry to a professional standard.

Whether you're starting from scratch or adding a new treatment to your existing services, you'll learn far more than just how to perform a treatment. We focus on understanding the science behind what you're doing, enabling you to work safely, confidently and achieve consistent results for every client.

Every course combines comprehensive theory with practical, hands-on training, ensuring you leave with a thorough understanding of both the treatment itself and the professional standards expected within today's beauty industry.

What You'll Learn

Throughout your training you'll cover topics including:

• Anatomy & physiology relevant to your chosen treatment

• Hair, skin or nail structure (course dependent)

• Consultation techniques and client assessment

• Contra-indications and contra-actions

• Health & safety, infection prevention and salon hygiene

• Product knowledge and treatment planning

• Practical application techniques

• Safe removal procedures (where applicable)

• Troubleshooting and common mistakes

• Client aftercare and maintenance

• Professional standards, insurance and legal considerations

Practical Training

After completing the theory section, you'll watch a live demonstration from your educator before progressing onto guided practical training. You'll work on live models under supervision, allowing you to build confidence while receiving personalised feedback throughout the day.

Our small class sizes ensure every student receives individual support, helping you refine your technique and ask questions as you learn.

Accreditation & Certification

This course is fully CPD accredited and has been developed to reflect current industry standards.

Following successful completion of your practical training and any required case studies, you'll receive your Certificate of Completion together with your unique CPD Credentialing PIN, recognising your achievement and supporting your professional development as you begin your career.

Payment Plan

• Secure your place today with a deposit and pay the remaining balance in cash on your training day.

• To use this option, select Payment Plan from the drop-down menu, proceed to checkout and choose PayPal as your payment method.

• Eligible customers can then select PayPal Pay in 3 or PayPal Credit. For more information, please see the How to Finance section of our website.

Finance Responsibility

Any finance agreement is arranged directly with PayPal. The Lab Training Academy is not responsible for payment plans, missed payments, interest charges or any fees associated with your finance agreement.

Cancellation Policy

Our standard cancellation policy applies to all bookings, including those made using PayPal finance.

• If you cancel within 7 days of your course date, your deposit will be forfeited.

• If you wish to rebook, a new deposit will be required.

Refund Policy

All course payments and deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Bookings & Payments

• All deposits and course payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.

• Where applicable, any remaining course balance must be paid in cash on the day of training.

• Course prices are subject to change without notice.

• Please ensure you provide a valid email address and contact number when booking.

• We reserve the right to amend or cancel a course where necessary. If this occurs, you will be offered an alternative training date.

Payment Methods

Deposits can be paid securely via debit/credit card, PayPal or bank transfer.

The Lab Training Academy does not store your payment information. All transactions are processed securely by our payment providers.

Booking Confirmation

Once your booking has been completed, you will receive a confirmation email. If you have not received this within 24 hours, please contact us at thelabbeautytrainingacademy@hotmail.com.

Cancellations & Transfers

• If you need to change your course date, you may transfer your booking once, provided we receive written notice at least 7 days before your scheduled training date.

• Requests made within 7 days of the course will result in the loss of your deposit. A new deposit will be required to secure another date.

• All cancellation or transfer requests must be submitted by email to thelabbeautytrainingacademy@hotmail.com.

PayPal Finance

If you choose to use PayPal Pay in 3 or PayPal Credit, your finance agreement is with PayPal, not The Lab Training Academy.

If you reschedule more than 7 days before your course, your booking can be transferred. Requests made within 7 days will result in the loss of your course deposit. Any remaining balance paid through PayPal may be transferred to a future course date in line with our cancellation policy.
